I. Using Notebook
a. Organization (Everything stays in the notebook.)
b. Check your child's progress at any time by looking at his/her assignment sheets.

II. Reading Log (due every Friday)
a. Nightly reading of 30 minutes (M-Th.)

III. Accelerated Reader (AR)
a. TWO AR TESTS ARE REQUIRED EACH GRADING PERIOD!
b. IF THESE TESTS ARE NOT TAKEN A ZERO WILL BE GIVEN!

IV. Scholastic Book Orders
a. Great prices on books
b. Please make checks payable to Scholastic Book Clubs.

V. Homework
a. Not having homework, including
Reading Log signature, 3 times = a detention.
(A detention will knock your child out of the
Comet Club, including the outing at the end of the year.)
Reading Logs will be checked every Friday.
b. Student Planner is an excellent way to check for
your child’s homework assignments. It’s also a
great communication tool. Feel free to write us a
note in it at any time, and we may do the same.
